Worker Terms — JBR Staffing app
By creating an account in the JBR Staffing app you agree to these terms. Last updated: 5 November 2026.
- Who we are. JBR Staffing Solutions Ltd. ("JBR") is a temporary staffing agency licensed in British Columbia. When you work a shift booked through the app, JBR is your employer for that shift and the client is the place you work. Your pay, vacation pay and deductions follow the BC Employment Standards Act.
- Your account. You must be at least 16, legally able to work in Canada, and the person named on the account. Keep your sign-in code and password to yourself. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- Accurate information. The details and documents you give us must be true and current. False information or someone else's documents may end your account and any placement.
- Claiming shifts. A claimed or assigned shift is a commitment. You can cancel in the app up to the cutoff shown on the shift (normally 3 hours before it starts). Cancelling inside 24 hours counts as a late cancellation and repeated late cancellations or no-shows affect your reliability score and future bookings.
- On shift. Arrive on time, clock in and out in the app at the venue, follow the client's safety rules and instructions, and treat staff and customers respectfully. Report injuries or incidents to JBR the same day.
- Location. The app uses your phone's location to show nearby shifts and, while you are clocked in, to confirm you are on site. See the Privacy Policy.
- Pay. Hours are taken from your clock-in and clock-out, rounded as shown on your timesheet, and approved by a recruiter. Pay goes out every Friday for the Saturday-to-Friday week before, by the payout method in your profile. Questions about a timesheet must be raised within 30 days.
- Ending things. You can delete your account at any time under Profile → Settings. JBR may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, safety concerns or inactivity. Records required by law are kept after closure.
- Changes. We may update these terms; the app shows the date of the current version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
- Law. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada.
